Answer him with 'Yes you can' and watch his face when you present this detailed cake featuring his checked shirt, tool belt, yellow hat and blue overalls. Do not confuse this cake with the 'Wiltons cake tin' this is much larger!

+w(150)) | Chocolate - Funky Daisy Pinata | Here is a novel idea! A dark chocolate shell that you can place over either a small cake or a tub of icecream or frozen yoghurt. And rather than cutting your cake why not smash it with a wooden mallet or kids hammer! The shell can be decorated in your favourite colours, shapes or flowers. This one is decorated with funky daisies. The pinatas look equally smart with different sized smarties (as seen in the Women's Weekly kids birthday cakes) or hearts.
This shell measures 17cm in diameter 11 cm high.

Large cup cakes are perfect for children and are large enough to fit the array of lollies on top. Prices start at $2.00 per cake, depending on their size and amount of confectionery needed for decorations. A minimum order of 20 individual cakes required.
You may ask why these cup cakes are priced differently to the other cup cakes display ... these are quite time consuming and use a lot of confectionery which unfortunately costs more!

This sky blue car is decorated with buttercream, highlighting certain features such as the flame, silver mag wheels, head light, tail pipe and mud guards with roll out icing. The windows, radiator and tyres are decorated with delicious licorise.

Optional Extra for $10.00 more - Deliciously decadent and suitable served up as 'the dessert' when the cake is a rich Mississippi Mud Cake filled with whiskey flavoured ganache.

+w(150)) | Jack in a Box | The Jack in a Box is a bright and colourful cake with a lovely 'Jack' springing out the middle from a high rise of delicious donuts. The cake almost comes alive as the Jack bounces around in the middle of the cake. Giant smarties form the numbers around the edge of the box with raspberry licorise to trim the edges.
The cake is quite large with the box itself being 23 sq cm and 11cm high. The Lid of the box stands 27cm high with the brightly coloured chocolate and sprinkle hat poking out over the top.
The cake could certainly be designed on a smaller scale if you so desired.

+w(150)) | Ladybugs | An absolutely beautiful cake designed for a little girls christening with a pink and limegreen ladybug theme. The cake was adorned with 8 icing ladybugs on the top and 16 smaller bugs around the sides. The two layered chocolate cake had Morella cherries with kirsch liqueur in the middle and completely covered in buttercream. The cake was 33 cm in diameter and 11cm high. Large enough to feed 60 people.
This design could easily be adapted for a smaller party or even on a cake the shape of a number or the first letter of a child's name.
Other colours are also effective with chocolate brown and red bugs on light chocolate buttercream. BE CREATIVE.

We carried on the baby pink and brown theme with matching balloons and invitations. The bear is snuggled up next to a great big Number '1' with icing flowers all around the base and a baby bear blanket to match. And if you have a boy, maybe you could consider it in pale blue and chocolate brown.

Note: The bear is not supplied in the price you will need to supply your own favourite little one. Mind you ... the cake looked fabulous even without a bear.

Definitely the talk of the party!
The cake is decorated with Ready to Roll Icing, sour worms for hair and various other confectionary for the finishing touches.
This cake is quite time consuming but well worth the effort.
It measures 22cm in diameter and approximately 20cm high.

This cake also had a bunch of balloons made out of cup cakes with licorise string attached to Spot. (The balloons would be an extra cost)
This flat style of cake is very easy to replicate with any of your child's favourite character.
The dimensions of this cake are 33cm long by 23cm wide with a depth of 8cm. The size can vary according to the number of guests you are inviting.

+w(150)) | Sweet Times Lollypop | A simple yet effective cake for any child's birthday. This cake was made to celebrate the 1st Birthday of the Sweet Times Lolly shop in Blackwood.
Each lollypop cake costs $60. Just one looks as effective as three!
Choose your colour theme. Pink, purple and white, or how about chocolate brown, pink and blue!
Options: Fruit Cake is completely covered in roll out icing. A chocolate or butter cake would be covered in buttercream with the lollypop twirl on the top in roll out icing.

Here is a classic dinosaur simply decorated with mint leaves, tic tacs for those 'big sharp teeth' and licorice claws.

+w(150)) | Train - Henry The Express | Trains are a popular option in our house. My eldest boy is a Thomas the Tank Engine fan and has chosen three of the trains for party cakes.
This one is perfect for a three year old's party ... Henry is the Number 3 engine in the series and this one pulls three carriages laden with sweets and lollies. Certainly a favourite with the children and adults alike.

The cake price is inclusive of the bunch of cup cake balloons.

A similar cake could be designed for any of your favourite Winnie the Pooh characters - Tigger, Eyore, Piglet, Kanga!
